This option allows you to export all of your Groove IM message in Microsoft Outlook. It retains all your original formatting and pictures embedded in Groove IM messages as well as attachments.
You might find this option highly useful if you prefer to keep all your communication (i.e. emails and Groove IMs) in one place. It also allows you to take advantage of capabilities of Microsoft Outlook such as advanced searching, archiving, grouping, rules and so on. Also you can vast variety of add-ins such as LookOut to quickly search your Outlook messages.
Following is the sample of messages exported in to Outlook. Notice that messages are exported i to Draft folder of the Outlook.
However, there are limitations for exporting in to this format: the Outlook message will not show the correct "From:" field and the correct Sent or Receive date. This limitations are imposed by Outlook to prevent "forged" messages. If you would like to retain these information anyway and still use the Outlook, you should check Show Advanced Options at the start of Export process and then check Include Full Headers checkbox. This will attach additional information about the message at the start of the body of the Outlook message.
