This option allows you to export all of your Groove IM message in one CSV (Comma Separated Values) file which you can view in Microsoft Excel.
This option is useful if you have some other program that can take CSV file format and do something with it. For example, you can use Microsoft Access or FileMaker to import CSV file in to a database.
We do not recommend this option to backup your messages because this option does not retain rich text formatting or images inside the message. Hence this export option is useful to interface with legacy system but not for personal archives of accurate copies of your IM.
